This past month, we had the exciting opportunity to launch our mentorship program for the 2024-2025 cohort, and the results have been truly inspiring! Stories are already pouring in—from mentors taking their mentees to professional networking events, to casual meetups over lunch and hikes, and one standout mentor who volunteered alongside all three of her girls at the Stadiumlinks golf event at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Some members have gone above and beyond by hosting fall interns, while others have made a meaningful impact by serving on the Scholarship Committee, thoughtfully reviewing 83 applications from mentees. We also kicked off the year’s first workshop, skillfully led by Cecily Jorgensen and LaTonya Howell. Additionally, a fantastic group of members participated in our WWS women’s only flight of the Stadiumlinks golf event!
No matter how you choose to engage, know that each of you is playing a vital role in shaping the future of young women in Utah. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to empowering the next generation of female leaders!

Join us for Girls Give Back!
We are so excited for our upcoming regional Girls Give Back Events. We hope you will make every effort to join us as we focus on the importance of volunteerism and the spirit of serving others. We welcome all members to attend. If you are a mentor, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your mentees to see which event they will be attending as this is a mandatory requirement for scholarship eligibility and would be a fantastic opportunity to gather in person. We realize you may reside in different areas of the state than your mentees but hope you will make accommodations to travel to the event closest your mentees residence.
Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can have an accurate food count and provide name tags for everyone in attendance. We are looking forward to an evening of meaningful conversations, compassionate service, and lasting memories made.
