A Note from Erin…

I don’t know if you are like me, but sometimes I’m not sure what day it is, if I missed someone’s birthday, if I missed an important meeting, did I pay for my parking? Thoughts like these runs through my head constantly and I wish I had someone to remind me! Well, here is your free and friendly reminder that the Women Who Succeed conference is May 18th! Regardless of if you are mentoring or not, we want you to come! It is great year to reconnect and recommit ourselves to do what we can for girls and young women in Utah!

Membership

Thank you for registering for the upcoming program year. We are thrilled to have so many of our members returning.107 of you are returning to continue this important work with us and we can’t thank you enough for giving your time, talents, and resources to help the young women of Utah. 33 founding members from our very first cohort are returning for their 4th year of membership. We are looking so forward to introducing you to the 64 new members joining Women Who Succeed to help build our future female leaders. We hope to see you all at the annual conference on May 18th where you will have a chance to participate in meaningful round table discussions and get to know your fellow members as we kick off this exciting new year.

Help Mentees Dress for Success!

Women Who Succeed is gathering professional dress items for all mentees in need. We are hosting the first WWS Career Closet at our annual conference on May 18th.

Help provide accessible professional attire for conferences, internships, interviews, headshots, networking events, job fairs and more to all the WWS mentees enrolled in this program year.

All mentees are encouraged to choose professional items from the Career Closet at no cost to them.

We are looking for gently used or new items in all sizes:

· Blazers

· Suit coats

· Dress Pants

· Skirts

· Dresses

· Sweaters

· Cardigans

Clothing drops can be made at the Ken Garff building from May 10 – May 17th 9-5pm (111 East Broadway, SLC 9th floor) or

Women Who Succeed conference May 18th between 11-12pm (Garff Exec Ed Building) or

Contact the WWS team to arrange a drop off location/time.
