A Note from Erin…

Happy January! I am absolutely thrilled to start this new year with all of you and make a true impact on the lives of young women across Utah. I hope you will be able to join us for our events this year. Please watch for Women Who Succeed emails with invitations that have Eventbrite links for you to register. As of now, here is what we have scheduled:

• March 26: Founder’s Tea at the Grand America, All members
• May 18: Women Who Succeed Conference at the University of Utah, All members and all mentees
• Sundresses and Sandals Summer Social! TBD – late July, All members and college-age MENTORS
• Girls Give Back!
  • October 10, Northern Utah
  • October 17, Southern Utah
  • October 24, Central Utah

*Please note we have decided to move Diamonds on Ice to March next year (2025) to coincide with our Founder’s Month and to expand the bandwidth of our small staff. We have typically held the event in September but have found that it is extremely demanding while we are getting our mentees set up for the school year and launching our Keys to Success activities. We appreciate your understanding!

Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to register for the 2024-2025 cohort. We are anticipating a full group of mentees and would like to start pairing them with mentors as early as possible to ensure the best fit. As a reminder, if you register by January 31st, you will be entered to win a beautiful Louis Vuitton handbag. We have created a shortened version of the application to simplify the process and allow you to make only necessary changes to your engagement preferences and update your personal information.

Big Starts from Small Towns

As we continue to make every effort to pair mentors and mentees by field of study and interest, it’s also very important to try to match groups from similar areas to make it easier to meet in person and decrease travel time to attend events together.  If you know any women from Cache Valley, Carbon County, or Washington County that may be a good fit, please send them our way and encourage them to join our fantastic group of women helping young ladies on their own personal path to success by offering mentoring, scholarships, internships, and networking opportunities in their communities.

Mentee Registration NOW OPEN for
the 2024-2025 Cohort

We are excited to announce that mentee registration is now open for the 2024-2025 cohort! Each year, 300 young women across the state of Utah participate in the Women Who Succeed program- benefiting from mentorship, internships, scholarships, and networking opportunities thanks to our generous members.

We encourage you to share the following resources with your networks and prospective mentees:

Michelle Love-Day

“We had a wonderful time at our December mentor meeting. We ate at Nacho Daddy and just filled our tummy with Holiday cheer, nachos and yummy enchiladas.” – Michelle Love-Day, mentor.

Michelle took her mentees out for dinner for their December meeting. Thanks to Michelle and to all of our mentors for making the most of their time with their mentee groups and creating such fun memories together!
